We offer comprehensive support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial drawings and engineering to complete fabrication and installation. Our commitment to meticulous attention to detail and rapid production of high-quality results has fostered long-term partnerships, propelling MJM from a design and engineering firm to a full-service fabrication shop.
We also specialize in business-to-business contract work, providing complex drawing and engineering services, including stamped engineered drawings, to meet the specific needs of our clients.
About the Founder
Mark Marenghi is the owner and principal designer at MJM Fabrication Design Engineering. With over 25 years of experience Mark has extensive expertise in mechanical design, 3D modeling, engineering drawings, and fabrication processes.
He started his career working in machine, welding, and millwork shops before finding Mystic Scenic Studios, where he served as Project Manager and Engineering Department head for 18 years. There, Mark designed and built large-scale sets, broadcast TV studios, props, and exhibits for theme parks, museums, and live events around the world. Some of Mark's most memorable projects include a 9-foot replica of the Heisman Trophy, robotic bookcases and chandelier for an opera produced by MIT and Boston Ballet Nutcracker scenery.
Mark also designs and builds unique restaurants, boats, and sculptures. Mark's detailed drawings and models allow complex projects to be accurately fabricated, assembled, and installed.
Mark works directly with clients to bring their design concepts to life. He combines innovative 3D modeling with traditional fabrication techniques. Mark is passionate about teaching the skills of mechanical design and is always exploring new applications of technology.
When not at the shop, you can find Mark coaching CrossFit, rucking with his dog, on the sidelines at one of his kids’ games or working on his custom motorcycles. Mark resides in Norwood Massachusetts with his wife and two children.
